Like or pass on people in Discover. When two people like each other, it’s a match and you can chat.

Free accounts get 50 likes every 12 hours and one Super Like a day. A membership removes the like limit.

Team up with a friend and meet another pair. Invite up to three friends with a link or a code (codes work for 7 days), choose who to pair with, and once they confirm you browse pairs together. When two pairs like each other, all four of you get a group chat. If anyone leaves, the group chat closes for everyone.

A mode in Discover that shows each person’s sign and a light hint based on your elements: Strong match, Good match or Worth exploring. It’s just for fun, and you can leave your sign off your profile.

Categories of people nearby, such as Coffee people, Outdoors or Something serious. The Verified category shows only people who passed a selfie check.

A like that stands out, with an optional note of up to 140 characters. If you match, the note becomes the first message. With a membership, your note is read before you match.

For 30 minutes you’re one of the first profiles people nearby see. A membership includes one free Boost a month; more are sold in packs.

In your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Your membership stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting your Avela account doesn’t cancel it.

Purchases are made through Apple or Google, so refunds follow their rules. Request one from the store you paid in.

Sign in with the same store account and tap Restore purchases in the app.

That the person’s selfies matched their profile photos. It isn’t an identity, age or background check, so stay careful when you meet.

No. We store a rough area about 1 km wide, and others see only a distance range. With Passport, they see a Passport badge and a distance from the place you chose.

No one, unless you choose to show it in Settings, then Privacy, then Gender and orientation. What you’re interested in is used for matching and never shown on your profile.

Open their profile or your chat, tap the menu and choose Report. It’s private, and our team reviews every report. You can block them at the same time. Matches that ended can still be reported for 90 days.

Your phone turns the numbers and emails you choose into codes and sends only those, so people you know won’t see you and you won’t see them. Your contact list itself is never uploaded.

Turn off Show me in Discover in Settings. New people stop seeing you, and your chats continue.

In the app, open Settings, then Account & data, then Export my data. You get a JSON file with your account, profile, preferences and activity.

Open Settings, then Account & data, then Delete account. It’s immediate: your profile leaves Discover, your matches and chats close, and your photos are deleted. It can’t be undone. Cancel any membership in your app store too.
