Is Avela free?

Yes. Your profile, matching, chat, Double Date, Astrology mode, Explore and every safety tool are free. Free accounts get 50 likes every 12 hours. A membership adds extras such as unlimited likes. See what it includes.

How does photo verification work?

You take three quick selfies in poses the app asks for. We compare them with your profile photos, and if they match your profile gets a verified badge. The selfies are deleted once we’ve decided.

Can people see where I am?

No. We store a rough area about 1 km wide, and others see only a range such as “Less than 5 km away”. You can hide your distance in Settings.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings, then Account & data, then Delete account. Deleting is immediate and can’t be undone. A membership bought in the App Store or Google Play is cancelled there.
